35 graffiti writers and street artists will unite to reclaim the former Donnell Library as a repository of visual information on the growing world-wide phenomenon of street art. This exhibition will present an art historical timeline that is a part of New York City's unique legacy. The artistic contribution of these cultural catalysts and preservationists from the 70's to the new millennium will address the ever-changing urban landscape and alternative modes of producing art in the streets.
This exhibition is dedicated to Rammellzee R.I.P. 2010

Mighty Tanaka presents: Adam VOID / AVOID pi Mural @ PowerHouse Arena in Dumbo
Many thanks to Mighty Tanaka Gallery for putting together the mural at PowerHouse Arena's Boiler Room "Murals on Main" space. The day-long session was filmed by Karim Tabba. The video will be posted as soon as his final edit is complete. Also, final pictures will surface as soon as possible.
In the meantime, go see it for yourself: 37 Main St. Brooklyn NY 11201 DUMBO. It will be up from August 10th until September 10th. The window is visable 24hrs a day.

The folks from Brooklyn Street Art are releasing a new book titled "Street Art New York." Published by Prestel (Random House), the book features high quality photographs of works by over 102 top street artists. This will be the document of the late 00's era movement in the streets of New York. The Benefit Auction's proceeds will go to Free Arts NYC.
The benefit will be held at Factory Fresh at 1053 Flushing Ave. in Bushwick Brooklyn, Saturday April 24th from 7-11pm. The Auction will take place between 7 and 9:30.
